Alarm Motion Detector 465

Alarm motion sensor

A motion sensor is a device that detects the movement of objects in its surroundings, such as humans, animals, or solid objects.
It is commonly used in security, lighting control, and automation systems to trigger a response when motion is detected.

360° CEILING MOUNT MOTION DETECTOR
Beautiful indoor ceiling mount passive infrared motion detector, ideal for residential burglars. Features elegant appearance.
Since 1998, DSW Industry has designed & manufactured Alarm Motion Detectors, Electric Sirens, Siren Alarms, Fire alarms for Burglar alarms, and Home Security Systems.
Alarm motion detectors are designed to detect movement within a specified area and trigger an alarm. These devices are typically used in homes and businesses to detect intruders and alert the occupants or authorities.
Alarm motion detectors use one of two methods: passive infrared (PIR) or microwave.

How do Passive infrared detectors work?

Passive infrared detectors work by sensing changes in infrared radiation within the detection area. When an intruder enters the detection area, the temperature of the area changes, and the detector sends a signal to the alarm system. Microwave detectors, on the other hand, emit microwaves into the detection area and detect any changes in the reflected waves. When an intruder enters the detection area, the reflected waves change, and the detector sends a signal to the alarm system.

Types of Alarm Motion Detectors
Several types of alarm motion detectors are available, each with pros and cons.
The most common types of motion detectors are PIR and microwave detectors.

PIR detectors are the most popular type of alarm motion detector widely used in homes and businesses. They are inexpensive, easy to install, and reliable.
Microwave detectors, on the other hand, are more expensive and can be more challenging to install. However, they are more sensitive than PIR detectors and can detect motion through walls and other obstacles.
Another type of alarm motion detector is the dual technology detector, which combines PIR and microwave technology.
These detectors are more expensive than PIR or microwave detectors but offer increased sensitivity and accuracy.

Motion Sensor Applications

Some of the key applications include:

Intruder alarms
Automatic ticket gates
Entry way lighting
Security motion sensor light
Automated sinks/toilet flusher
Hand dryers
Automatic doors
